Taking a nursing placement in Pokhara will give you the opportunity to focus on a range of areas - from leprosy rehabilitation to NICU.  Bedside care is usually taken care of by families in Nepal, so you’ll find your role differs from that in the US. You'll also work closely with qualified specialists who are willing to impart their expert knowledge. Once it’s time to clock off, you can enjoy rowing across Lake Phewa’s calm waters in colourful boats, or exploring sacred temples and ruins. Read what our students think below!
