By entering this Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

The Promotion

1.1 The Work the World Monthly Video Prize Draw 2026 (the “Promotion”) runs from 1 April 2026 to 31 December 2026 inclusive.

1.2 No additional payment beyond participation in a Work the World placement is required to enter.

1.3 One (1) prize is available to be won per calendar month, subject to Section 6 (Minimum Entry Threshold).

1.4 A maximum of nine (9) prizes will be awarded between 1 April 2026 and 31 December 2026.

Eligibility

2.1 You must:

Be aged 18 or over at the time of entry; and

Be currently undertaking, or have completed within the previous six (6) months, a Work the World placement at the time of entry.

2.2 You must have paid your registration fee in full and not have cancelled your placement at the time of the relevant selection.

2.3 Employees of Work the World Ltd and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

How to Enter

3.1 Submit your video via the official submission form on the Work the World website.

3.2 You may submit up to three (3) original videos per calendar month.

3.3 To be considered for a monthly selection, entries must be received between 00:01 on the first day and 23:59 on the final day of the relevant calendar month (UK time).

3.4 Entries will not roll over to the following month unless Section 6 applies.

3.5 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, corrupted, misdirected, incomplete, or fail to upload properly.

Video Requirements

4.1 Each video must:

Be under sixty (60) seconds in length;

Be filmed in portrait format;

Be original content created by you;

Not contain copyrighted material for which you do not hold the necessary rights or permissions;

Not include patient-identifiable information;

Not breach patient confidentiality, data protection law, or professional conduct standards applicable to healthcare settings;

Comply with local hospital policies and Work the World’s Ethical Content Creation Guide.

4.2 You must obtain informed consent from any identifiable individual featured in your video.

4.3 The Promoter reserves the right to reject or disqualify any entry that is deemed inappropriate, unsafe, misleading, non-compliant with healthcare regulations, or damaging to the Work the World brand.

Winner Selection

5.1 One (1) winner will be selected each calendar month by Work the World head office staff from all valid entries received during that month.

5.2 Entries will be assessed based on overall quality, originality, creativity, clarity, and suitability for marketing use.

5.3 The selection will take place within five (5) working days of the end of each calendar month.

5.4 The winner will be contacted using the details provided at entry and must respond within seven (7) days of notification.

5.5 If a selected winner does not respond within seven (7) days, or is found to be ineligible, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

5.6 The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

Minimum Entry Threshold

If fewer than three (3) valid entries are received in a calendar month, the Promoter reserves the right to:

Roll over valid entries into the following month’s selection; and/or

Defer or cancel that month’s prize award.

The Prize

7.1 Each monthly prize consists of a refund equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the winner’s original registration fee paid to Work the World (the “Registration Fee”).

7.2 The prize:

Is non-transferable;

Is non-exchangeable;

Is limited strictly to the value of the Registration Fee paid;

Has no cash alternative beyond the Registration Fee refund.

7.3 Refunds will be processed within thirty (30) days of confirmation of eligibility.

7.4 If the winner subsequently cancels their placement, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize.

Use of Submitted Content

8.1 You retain ownership of your video content.

8.2 By submitting a video, you grant Work the World Ltd a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable and sub-licensable licence to use, edit, adapt, reproduce, publish, distribute and display your video for marketing, promotional, advertising, recruitment, educational, and other business purposes.

8.3 This licence applies to all submitted videos, including those that do not win a prize.

8.4 Videos may be used across any media format, including but not limited to websites, social media platforms, paid advertising, printed materials, presentations, and other promotional channels.

8.5 No additional payment or compensation will be provided for such use beyond eligibility for the Promotion.

Winner Disclosure

9.1 The Promoter may publish the winner’s first name, surname initial, university (where applicable), and placement destination.

9.2 In accordance with UK promotional regulations, the surname and county of major prize winners can be provided upon request within one month of the relevant selection. Winners may object to such disclosure by contacting [email protected]; however, the Promoter may still be required to provide details to regulatory authorities if requested.

Data Protection

10.1 Personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection law and Work the World’s Privacy Policy.

10.2 Personal data will be used solely for the administration of the Promotion, selection and notification of winners, and associated record-keeping.

General

11.1 The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the Promotion where it becomes necessary to do so due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

11.2 To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from participation in the Promotion or acceptance of the prize.

11.3 If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

11.4 The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant found to be tampering with the entry process or acting fraudulently.

11.5 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
