A few interesting cases I have seen include multiple cases of disseminated TB in non-HIV patients and just the amount of alcoholic liver disease with Cirrhosis of the liver.

We stayed in a village, just over 100km west of Kathmandu, just over 2,000m altitude and about an hour from the Chinese border.

The lack of understanding but pure appreciation from the patients, even though we did very little for them, still astounds me. I even got to be the doctor for the week under supervision!

Working in these hospitals made me simultaneously angry & passionate. Angry at the lack of resources & passionate about wanting to make a difference
