I love to travel, and I thought that if I could complete my clinical rotation while travelling, then that would be amazing. I'd never been to Vietnam before, and I had always wanted to go. 

The Work the World team here has made everything so much easier; they have been amazing. They supported me with everything throughout my placement and when we travelled on weekends.

Everyone in the house is so nice and welcoming, it is very easy to make great friends and travel with them. It is also great that all your meals are cooked for you. 

The social aspect of my trip has been so much fun. Every weekend, we planned a trip with 6+ others from the house. We visited Hanio, Phong Nha, Ha Giang, Da Nang, Hoi An and more, all in the space of five weeks.

All the in-country staff have been so helpful. Chi Thao, Chau and Thuan made it so memorable. We have had so many laughs together, especially while learning Vietnamese.

Some memorable moments from my placement include going out for drinks with the doctors and physios, being able to speak Vietnamese in the hospitals and the language lessons with Chi Thao. Also, travelling on the weekends and going to the tailor to get a custom suit.

One thing from my trip that will stick with me forever is experiencing the Ha Giang loop - it was such a fun and unique experience.
